      There is a lot of background from other ethnicities but most Black people died in the war, were excluded or married into white communities and most indigenous people were pushed out or were killed
      I have a very coarse outsider understanding. But Argentina is a white colonizer country like the US. A lot of white people have a little African or indigenous ancestry because of colonization like in the US
      They are white

    well you missed the pretty important fact of how he slipped from being punished when initially captured, when he was joining the SS he didn't accept their tattoo marking, and when Allies were searching for the biggest war criminals, they were searching for these tattoos, so this is how he slipped, and considering his end wasn't just... well ending up as scientific aid equipment after using so many human beings in his experiments feels like a fair bit of poetic justice

    I visited a museum in Denmark (Louisiana) this last summer and they had an exhibition about forensic technology, where they brought up the identification process of Josef Megeles skeleton. There, it said they couldnt perform a DNA test to identify him, because there was no confirmed DNA left of him to test it against. Instead they used a technique where they superimposed photos of Mengele throughout his life onto photos taken of his skull in the same exact angle. There was more to it than that though, but I cant remember the details. I thought that was pretty cool. Dont take my word for it though, thats just what I read at the museum, i might be misremembering.

    German from Munich here. First of all thanks for your awesome videos. When I was still in school I had the chance to meet an impressive older man, who was put into concentration camp when he was just a child. Just because his family happened to be jewish. His parents even named him Adolf, when he was born while the Nazis just began to rise, hoping it might save him from being targeted. He was one of the poor victims "treated" by Mengele. He tried to castrate him and his siblings by sticking metal bars in their abdomen. He was looking for a more "efficient" way than surgery. It was horrible to hear his story, but we were lucky to still have someone telling his story first hand. He was such a mentally strong man and he overcame his trauma, married and had children. So we were happy to hear that this monster Mengele had failed is mission at least in this case.

    He actually got away due to his fear or repulsion to needles/tattoos… all SS members had their blood type group underneath their armpit obvi they were all mostly in the top Aryan group but their classification went much deeper and had levels within that group to distinguish between people … he refused it talked his way out of never getting that tattoo so when they checked his name but then he didn’t have the tattoo that was “required” by all in SS he was let go and they didn’t figure it out until much later … at that point his family’s wealth and position allowed him to get away in the rat lines to South America… his new identity was thanks to the pope / Catholic Church who gave all nazis new identities (only really the higher up officers or ones with money) by issuing a baptism certificate which in those days was equal to a birth certificate and allowed u to get documents through Red Cross … so this just shows how many people in real life care about antisemitism…. He was practically handed a new life ….also thru all the virtue signaling… does anybody want to guess what country in the League of Nations or its equivalent was the only country to accept Jews no questions asked and increase their quotas for Jewish immigration after the wansee conference which set in stone the holocaust (which all countries intelligence networks were aware of so this whole bs that the us didn’t know until they liberated a camp is a lie) the only singular country with compassion enough to go against the status quo and reject the xenophobia of the time ….. not america, England, Canada , Australia, ect …… The freaking Dominican Republic ….. was the only country who agreed to increase their quotas which did little to help but this whole virtue signaling all these countries do now is so hipocritical it’s disgusting…

    "This wasn't science, it was murder." But the truth is, it was both. Science and any given set of moral values are unrelated.

    Do Margaret Sanger next.... “In April of 1933, The [Birth Control] Review [Margaret Sanger’s magazine], published a shocking article entitled “Eugenic Sterilization: An Urgent Need”. It was written by Margaret’s close friend and advisor, Ernst Rudin, who was then serving as Hitler’s Director of Genetic Sterilization and had earlier taken a role in the establishment in the Nazi Society for Racial Hygiene. Later in June of that same year, [The Birth Control Review] published an article by Leon Whitney entitled, “Selective Sterilization”, which adamantly praised and defended The Third Reich’s pre-holocaust race purification programs.”

    I felt a fitting end was having a stroke in water, much more than a point about him ending up as a skeleton display.
    If I believed in the otherworld I could almost imagine all the lost souls pulling him down into darkness in torment, lets park that thought.
    Either way, good riddance to bad rubbish.

    How could they do DNA testing on the bones? They would have had to have a known sample to compare against. Really kinda curious what that known sample was.
    Like maybe someone saved his uniform from Germany for 50 years and they found a stray hair?

    • @altfemboy3109
      @altfemboy3109 ปีที่แล้ว

      The members of the SS all had their DNA sampled in order to be a member. You needed to be so "Aryan" to be a member. There was even a period where they loosened some of these restrictions in order to increase recruitment. But yeah the Nazi's were all about their records and book keeping. Thats why we have so much information about the Halaucaust because they were so dilligent in their records and notes and why even after they destroyed so much of it we still have a lot of information.
