I have a vacuum that plays sweet music too ;-0)
I have found that when I put on very HEAVY(thick/strong) blades, then I never have to replace them again. I think Gator was one brand I got but I'm not sure. Senior moment here.
@@2Truth4Liberty on my push mower I replaced my blade once in 20 years. About to do it again. Blade life expectancy is based off many factors, amount of use, proper care as in sharpening, hitting sticks or rocks and such. If you have sandy soil, that sand wreaks havoc on blades.

Agree!
I never sharpen now so maybe that is why my blades last forever.
I hit lots of gravel, large stones with "iceberg tips" sticking up and tree roots, so the tough heavy blade is almost a requirement. I used to go through 2 or 3 standard blades in just 1 or 2 mowings
mostly becuase of getting bent so they dug the ground.
I have never seen a 46 inch deck with only two blades, everyone I have seen had three blades. You did a good job.
@@jimeckenrode1271 when it comes to riding mower decks, they come in 2 & 3 blade options.
