I've been a fan of Jimmy Buffet since I was a toddler. And being a native Floridian I may have been at least runner up for the the title of the World's Youngest Parrothead.
i for one can do without the lengthy guitar solos in the middle of a song when I'm standing there on the stage trying to decide whether to tell a joke or break into a little dance. Yes, the break makes for a more authentic performance of the song as it was recorded, but it's no fun for the karaoke singer.
Broadway tunes are often the worst that way: dance and music breaks, even dialogue parts make it awkward and difficult. A shortened version of those is ideal. 😁
Thanks for creating this, KaraFun!!! Ignore the haters. Even if -- IF it's not perfect, no one else invested the time and you did. So for that I say thank you!
So did I, years ago, but here i had the time to slightly change up some of the lyrics throughout and then ignore the lyrics on the screen for the last verse and sing "the lost verse" instead.
@@danv7514 It's called Karaoke, it's for vocal practice. You probably need to find something intended to be used for guitar practice, Suggestion: something without the word "Karaoke" in the title.
@@mikebutlermedia4211 How condescending. They are called Guitar Backing tracks and most of them do not have the full repertoire of instruments. Usually just base and drums and maybe a keyboard so they are not very good for performing as a solo guitar/singer act.
@@danv7514 No need to get insulted. There are a zillion guitar backing tracks including Music Minus One (missing only your guitar), but this here is not that-in fact Marg'ville isn't even a guitar song, unless you count strumming the chords as a rhythm guitarist, which you would do throughout the song, with or without the instru break. Here's one you can try, the whole band, with selectable track muting. www.karaoke-version.com/custombackingtrack/jimmy-buffett/margaritaville.html
Isn't there usually an instrumental break between the second and third verse of the song? While I love the song, I'm so used hearing those instrumental breaks.
It's often done on purpose, as a guide. It's not loud enough to be intrusive, but helps refer you if you're singing along. I've heard a lot of karaoke songs done this way.
It's just a guide. If you're singing like you're supposed to, you will easily mask that. even if you change the lyrics, like I say "them parrotheads" instead of "those tourists."
Y'mean the "lost verse"? As in Old men in tank tops cruising the gift shops Checking out the chiquitas down by the shore They dream about weight loss, wish they could be their own boss Those three day vacations become such a bore
singing this currently in the honor of Jimmy Buffet our king of tropical music

Love music my late husband favorite miss him so much♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏💝
Karaoke is better when the instrumental breaks are kept to a minimum or left out entirely. I love this version!

My favorite song in English!
It's missing the break. I like to strum my guitar wit it also

haters where its great
My One of my favorite songs 💖❣️💞❣️
I really did not miss the instrumental breaks. If the song is easy to do, as this one is, the breaks don't really play that important a role.
easiest song to sing in karaoke love it

Exactly. It has ruined my guitar play along many times. Finally deleting it!

What I meant was that there was no instrumental break one usually hears between the chorus and the third verse of the song.

Good observation Buffett Live stretches it even longer.
