Was cutting the grass the other day with a streaming metal radio station blazing in my earbuds and THIS song came on. I stopped what I was doing and ran inside to figure out what it was. Felt like I was 13 again. lol
This is one of their best songs. Of course theres a long list of great tunes by Anthrax. But this songs has something special to it. And Joeys voice is killer in this. !..!,
Just came back here after listening some Metallica's Hardwired..man, this is the real deal.. I feel bad for Anthrax, they still kick ass while true to their roots. They deserve more attention.
I heard bits of this on the radio, but they never said who it was. today a buddy of mine was riding along and said "it sounds like anthrax" the fact that music like this is still being made gives me hope for the future.
I seriously gave up hope on radio. Then about two nights ago, I thought "fuck it" so I turned on the radio and the first song I heard was Battery from Metallica.
I love Anthrax so much. I listened to this song and got goosebumps, this IS good stuff! The solo impressed me, although I have to admit nobody comes close to Danny Spitz! Obviously, they have slowed down a bit, but I'm so glad Joey, the real Anthrax singer, is back and is better than ever! Frankie's bassline is still awesome as hell as always. For me, Joey, Danny, Frankie, Charli, and Scott will always be the TRUE Anthrax. ♥♥ Jon did a great job tho.
I do not aim with my hand; He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I aim with my eye. I do not shoot with my hand; He who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
After seeing them in concert, I'm obligated to vouch for their quality and original sound. This is a sheer masterpiece. They've been kicking ass for decades, and they sure as hell haven't lost their touch since then. Joey Belladonna is phenomenal as well. Not only as a person, but as their frontman.
I just heard this song two months ago and I fuckin' loved it. It's been in the back of my head for two months and I could never figure out who tf sings this song. For TWO MONTHS I've been in anguish looking for this damn song. TWO MONTHS! Then it played on the radio again and I immediately started recording the song on my phone to look it up. I finally have it. It's this damn song and I am fuckin' happy that I can hear it whenever.
They played this live in their concert I went to here in Brazil, and it was ABSOLUTELY BLOODY INSANE. The new album is of the best releases of the year so far, and this song kicks ass and their concert was nothing short of incredible. Thank you so much, Anthrax!
After hearing the 2016 albums by Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica, and Testament, Anthrax takes the fucking CROWN. "FOR ALL KINGS" was the best album by the Big 5 bands.
as much as I love testament but they are not part of the BIG 4..the big 4 are bringing back true Metal without using that god awful so-called singing with deep voice trying to sound evil bull shit....
Agreed. The Testament album was a big disappointment, especially after how good _Dark Roots of Earth_ was. Everyone else brought it. Death Angel has the thrash album of 2016, if not the decade, though. If you haven't heard _The Evil Divide_, you really should.
One of my top favorites songs on FOR ALL KINGS. i am! a huge Anthrax fan and have their band logo name tattooed on the side of my left forearm. And have seen them 4 x's total since December 6th 1997. Hoping they come back to Pittsburgh Pa USA on tour when they can.
I bought the cd first week it was out and listened to it a few times then listened to some other stuff. I've been listening to it in my car for the last 2 weeks, not listening to anything else right now. It is an amazing album, musically and lyrically. So if you don't enjoy it the first couple times, then give it more time to get under your skin and be one of the best anthrax albums they've ever put out.
For the one who compares this to 'Stryper' Please... I grew up on Maiden, Rush, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Slayer, Insanity, And Even, Dio And Night Ranger...Music hits your soul... And all of the above bands have hit my soul in one way or another, And This Song F'N Kicks Ass... Looking Forward To Driving 200 Miles To See Death Angel/Anthrax/Slayer In Reno In Oct...This Song Is Bad Ass...
At the first listening I didn't get through this album because I found that the singing was lacking of power, but after a second and a third listening, I really think this is one of the best thing they have done wihin the last three decades. And I would say that this is better musically than the classic album they did in the 80's.
Alright alright, I understand, this is a kickass song, (One of their best IMO) But are we not going to comment on the insane quality and well fitting music video?
@@WhiskyGravy Hearing the song prompted me to check out the disc .. lots of great songs on it.. I been a fan since 85 or so... Anthrax were always on the road.. The fact that Anthrax is still making music like this gives hope to humanity.
It does.

This album IS PHENOMENAL.
That is one of the greatest rock and roll songs EVER. MELODICALLY RELEVANT!
Im going to be honest
This is the best comeback of a band from the 80s and 90s I have ever heard this year.
I don't give a damn what people say, Anthrax still got it and this is proof.
Everything good about the 1980s is back in this song.
What an Incredible song. This band is still Playing at the highest level.
I love this album entirely. The previous album is just as good in my opinion. I'm grateful to see Joey back singing where he belongs.
Long days and pleasant nights 🖤
This dude gets it.
And may you have twice the number.
My new favorite driving song , I swear my car is a lot faster with this at max volume. I am 56 years young omg this song makes me feel good. Bravo
When I'm pissed and just generally having a terrible day, I can go for a nice ride with this blasting. It feels so great.
This is one of their best songs. Of course theres a long list of great tunes by Anthrax. But this songs has something special to it. And Joeys voice is killer in this. !..!,
I love this song....ANTHRAX is one of my favourite bands since the '80's....when I was a teenager... Masters! MASTERS FOREVER!!!

Anthrax is doing the best out of the big 4 lately.
Kristian Flores they sure do!
This song rocks! I love when heavy bands inject melody into their music. I still like the fast stuff but there's nothing wrong with slowing it down.
Been awhile since this band gave me goosebumps...this album hits the mark.
The man in black fled across the desert, and the Gunslinger followed.
Wow. I'm blown away.
Love the older stuff but this new stuff is AMAZING.
one of the best anthrax songs ever
Anthrax's most mature album

I love Joey.... very underrated vocalist .... best in the big four imo
Om Bangal that you are wrong, joey is very loved singer in this band actually
Great song. Anthrax is New York's true metal band!

My wife loves Thrash metal now that I introduced her to the right tunes. 🎉🤘
Anyone else catching the DARK TOWER, and the GUNSLINGER references?????
+themoj0 Yeah totally. Amazing!
This song is wonderful live, they play it extremely tight and really make the crowd move
I think this IS a masterpiece
An amazing song that deserves more attention!
Agreed!!
Lol far from a masterpiece, C'mon ! That word is overused on TH-cam, so is underrated. It's got nothing on the first 5 albums.
@@paulburrows7908 the last time I listened to these guys was when I bought State Of Euphoria back in 88'. In my opinion it's underwhelming.
EVERYTHING SERVES THE BEAM!
Not exactly what I normally expect Anthrax to sound like, but I really like this
Probably one of their best albums they ever did, The best of the 4 and others like 'em. Anthrax and Testament, should be the next tour!
Anthrax is one band we knew could make spectacular music. They've matured into a great quintet of pure majesty and the metal is unparalleled!
the chorus is the best part of the song imo
The chorus is the best part of every Anthrax song.

according to WHO?..YOU?! lol
***** Lol are you offended by that statement?
For All Kings is just an amazing album. How a band 30+ years old can do an album that good is beyond me. This song is just one of the best.
Man when i thought i knew everything i found this piece of beauty, im addicted.
Anthrax, this is my favorite song of 2016. Just so unbelievably....awesome. I love each and every moment of it. A true anthem of the year. Thank you.
Travis Linton no doubt brother I agree and it's the melodic rythm that makes me love this badass group! simply fucking
Yep - first time I heard it I loved it. Listened MANY times since and hasn't gotten old at all. Agree, best song of 2016.

Glad to hear Joey! They weren't the same without him
BPM VLOGS Quite frankly I have to say that the John Bush era is perhaps better.
Nah. Lol. But I respect our our opinions.
And now they're not the same with him. Anthrax died after Persistence of Time.

its changing the world now
it certainly does, as someone hears it for the first time and likes it. did anthrax change the world? anything famous has an effect
even the smallest thing you do in a sense changes the world.
+vargo hoat every time i wank off and cry, a kitten in somalia dies. my actions change the world too.
Is that some sort of back-handed comment about an 80s band sounding dated? It's self-defeating if so.
