this is straight up and useful. one does wonder how a judge determines prejudicial or confusing evidence. Is the judge's decision subjective? subjective with guidelines? attorneys are always trying to push this boundary. The judge always needs to push back. it must be tiresome. maybe the judge has a clerk that does most of this work deciding admissible evidence? how often are these decisions made from the bench?on the fly.

Same applies to any other confidential communication. You even see this of all places in the movie Lincoln Lawyer when Mick Haller (the lawyer) has Mrs. Windsor (the client's mother) leave the conference with the client and others on the legal team.
