Loved this. As I live on the West Coast this part of the world is new to me. I will aim to resolve this no doubt inspired by your vid. Love incorporating trains into a ride - previously ridden from Glasgow area up to Oban (via Kilberry, Loch Awe & Glen Loanan) & Pitlochry. Get a beer & pizza then jump on the train home for a really epic day out which really lives on in the memory. Keep up the good work 👊
Ooh sounds like a great trip. Loch Awe is beautiful. Trains really can open up new roads, areas and different experiences can't they! The Scottish Borders and Northumberland are lovely places to ride a bike. Hilly though... ⛰️⛰️⛰️
Im no expert but I believe each train company has differing policies.! If that clears the already murky waters. Scotrail stands out as i believe it caters for cyclists without fuss.
It depends on the journey - some you do, some you don't. I booked my ticket and bike on the Trainline app about 20 mins before departure and then printed out my tickets at the machine in Edinburgh 👍🏻
Just beautiful! Thanks for sharing your ride!
Great video of a lovely day out 🚲🙂👍
Nice wee day out Charlie 😎never done any riding over that neck of the woods. Looks awesome though
Thanks Charlie another beautiful Video
Thanks 👍🏻

I love riding around Loch Awe but golly the west side is absolutely brutal with about 90 miles already in the legs 🤪
Wow, another ride in beautiful countryside, proper jealous ,hoping to do a bit up there when i get to north Berwick next year.
Nice one, enjoy riding in Scotland when you're up 😀
love it! Inspiring - makes me want to hop on a train and do a ride (sadly I'm not in Scotland but in East Anglia)
East Anglia is nice and flat though. It's all so hilly in the Scottish Borders! We had a good wee ride down there near Craster a few years ago
Wonderful video need to do things like this do you need to book bike on train? ❤
