Swedish angler Mikko Seppänen introduces and demonstrates the new downsized X-Rap Peto 14cm in this video filmed on one of many "summer cottage" lakes in the countryside of Sweden, north of the capital Stockholm.
The Finnish Beast, X-Rap® Peto, combines Rapala’s fish-catching X-Rap® construction with a beautifully color matched soft tail to create a seamless hybrid bait. With its slow sink, X-Rap® Peto is the ideal choice for cold water & challenging conditions. The tail kicks with a wide action when retrieved; or try a jerk & pause allowing the bait to slowly swim into the depths.
The soft tail is firmly secured to the body with a 6-point stainless plate. Spare tail included.
Fitted with VMC® Coastal Black hooks.
Currently available in 20cm and the new 14cm size.

Had great success with the 8 inch Peto this fall, going to have to purchase this one in the Halloween colour once it becomes available again.
You should make a x-rap peto for perch that are like 9-12cm :)

3 years i've been waiting for spare tails for the 14cm peto.... are u ever gonna release them?
Same running depth ? Thinking it might be a great lure for large walleye
It's smaller and naturally lighter, but will run at a similar depth on lighter gear.

Use a split ring with a small tungsten teardrop or cillinder weight to make the bait go deeper! I use the bigger version with 10 gram and 14 gram tungsten to fish deeper ledges for throphy pike! I just slow roll these baits and let it bump on the bottom! Yes the treble hooks will get dull and you could get stuck and lose the bait but the bites you get is insane and worth it!
Are the tails between the peto and the otus interchangeable??

Your only option, or atleast the only one I've found is to order it on ebay. None of the main chains here in the states carry it. Most dont even know what lure your talking about if you ask.
