Now there's an idea! :) We have been in communication with SpaceX, but that was about getting products to them. Perhaps time to change that conversation?
But more on topic, we offer +/-0.1mm repeat accuracy on all products. In fact, in our latest update, we've gone even further. Some parts now have a repeat accuracy of +/-0.05mm.
But why? That makes no sense right? It wouldn't be noticable by our users and it's not relevant for the finished install, so who cares?
Well, the more consistent the product is, the more consistent the user experience is. We don't want it to be hard for one person and easy for another. It needs to be easy (and as intended) for all users. We also ship all over the world and a product made today still needs to connect to a product made many months ago. The only way to guarantee a proper fit and consistent experience across time is to work with very tight tolerances.
You'd be surpised how much is involved with manufacturing at scale and ensuring a proper fit at all times. :)
Hence precision engineered... :)
