Our company also puts a focus on safety in which we have extensive measures of making sure that safety is our employees' number one priority.
3.) How many dollars did your company spend on corporate social responsibility and citizenship in the most recent decision round? What percentage of your company's revenues in the most recent decision period did these expenditures represent? What percentage of pretax profits did these expenditures represent?
The amount we spent on corporate social responsibility was $16,100. The percentage of our company's revenue that represents expenditures is 56%, the percentage of pretax profits was 42.5%
4.) In the most recent decision round, were your company's expenditures for social responsibility and corporate citizenship above or below the industry average level of expenditure based on total dollars spent? Were your company's expenditures for social responsibility and corporate citizenship above or below the industry average expenditure per unit sold?
They were above average , our company’s expenditure for social responsibility and corporate citizenship was definitely above the industry average of per units sold, which was great for our company
5.) If some shareholders complained that you and your co-managers have been spending too little on social responsibility and corporate citizenship, what would you tell them?
I would show them that our company image is at 77, which is the expectation of stockholders. Any more investment in this would cause a financial loss without a tangible return on investment. This can be difficult to explain to stakeholders and can give competitors an advantage to competitors on financial aspects of performance.
6.) If some shareholders complained that you and your co-managers have been spending too much on social responsibility and corporate citizenship, what would you tell them?
I would tell the shareholders that the more you participate in social responsibility the further it helps your image. An improved image will increase the liklihood of individuals engaging with your business. This can include things such as buying the product or working for the company. The more your company does for its community the more that the community will do for them. It works as a quid pro quo scenario.
