Idk if Jon responds to comments but I was gonna ask him if he wanted to come down to south Texas (specifically south of Houston, Galveston area) and fish for bass, reds, speckled trout, gar,. Head down to Harpswell/Portland, Go out to Casco bay for the big stripers this year. Also Cobbsocontee lake and pleasant pond are both TOP lakes for big largies. Fish the sabbatus stump field or Androscoggin for trophy pike

That grass you were calling eelgrass is wild rice. There is a lot of that up on Leech Lake in MN and it is some of the thickest stuff you can find.

You should try the headbanger shad lure. It comes in a 11 cm (about 4") version and it is awesome for big perch and small pike here in Sweden. But I assume the Lmb would love it too.
You have to do a shed by for all your toys in Maine it’s gotta happen especially in today’s time all this violence you have a lot to loose the small shed you can store wood in for the winter or a lean to would be a great video
