The story of that part:
Adrien is in front of a big dilemma. Should he hand over his father to Ladybug or team up with him? After all he decides to help his dad. In the meantime Ladybug, still searching for Cat Noir, is calling mrs. Chamack to see for the details over the case with Emilie Agreste and despite what she's saying ( that there's no any information about Emilie) Ladybug decides to go see by herself, but she still doesn't find anything. Then her earrings start flashing so she decides to stop the searching for today and go home before change back to normal. In that time, Adrien being akumatized in Hawk Moth aka his father' s lair and starting to make chaos in Paris. Marinette is shocked after seeing her partner under Hawk Moth' s control in the news.
