I felt your pain at SF and Downhill Jam. I remember that guy ounch feeling when you jump over the valve like you did the first time, and restarting after blowing that first jump to the first valve. Missing the secret tape in SF got me so pissed when I was younger.
Yup, fr. Both those stages are such a pain for being run killers and also ways to just easily lose time. Luckily with SF, my route does give me 2 shots at the secret tape, but it's still really hard. Even playing as much as I have, the jump is so difficult. You have to have enough speed to roll down the whole ramp but not too much to where you jump the gap right before the final jump and lose all your speed😑
I had a ps1 as a kid but I've still not played any of these pro skater games. I think you did alright with the speedrun. These old games have a creepy atmosphere that no modern even horror games have. It's the low quality I think. The last level of this game being so dark and strange makes it scary.
