    Nice D7, unfortunately the guy operating has no clue how to run it. 😢

      he bought it for his homestead, don't know if he operated one before, if so, not much, still faster than a bobcat

      It was a bit painful to watch. There is no replacement for seat time.
      Hopefully he gets better.

      @@bulbchangingmonkey its just for use around his homestead, don't think he ran one in his earlier life

    When you have the bobcat in there and partially smooths it out you should be able to back it in there with your truck. If need be you can have the bobcat hook on to the back of the trailer and working together you will have enough pressure off so that your truck will back it in there!

    Now, yours is the kind of video I believe a lot of people would be interested in because it's something a lot of people can relate to and in a country and land that some people can now see what can be done for things in their own mind they would like to do.

      I would have still needed to get rid of the hill and stumps, and snow,

      $100hr, vs everybody with skid steer wanted $150hr and they would have took most the day just getting through the first hill.

    How deep does the ground freeze there?

    • @Krazyhunter
      @Krazyhunter  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's going to depend on where you're at there, but with that being a wooded area and snow on the ground we only had about 6 in of Frost

    27:30 ish you said that took an hour and 20 mins? Thats 20 minutes work total with a D7. I could do that in an hour 20 with my old 873 bobcat

    What’s the point of living in Alaska if you can see your neighbors from your front porch.

    Dozed operator has no clue as to what he is doing. You would have been better doing it yourself. You got ripped off. Could have done a better job of gradeing

    • @Krazyhunter
      @Krazyhunter  หลายเดือนก่อน

      My choices was that dozer at $100 an hour, or bobcats at $150 an hour, and the bobcats would have took all day, don't think I got ripped off
