The eyes of Texas (and KY) on well-heeled Stilettos in Ellis Park Debutante

No shoe-in, second-choice Stilettos followed up on her 16-length debut at Lone Star Park in her home state of Texas with a contested front-running victory in the $175,000 Ellis Park Debutante presented by the Hudson Family. (And we appreciate the individualized saddle towels that the owners could keep.) Stilettos shook off the dogged favorite Rich City Girl by 1 1/2 lengths.
