  • two electric picks guns tested to see if they were diffrent or had any huge advantage over the other, just a review to see which one is worth the money. Both are about the same price and both do the same thing - so which one to choose ?

Thanks for taking the time to do this video.
Not seen a direct comparison between snap guns and EPG s.
    Thanks again.

I feel like the last tool you use on any particular lock could have a slight advantage in the sense that if any pins or the cylinder is jammed up, these tools that are designed to apply a sudden impact could easily loosen the seized up component for the next tool which happens to finally break it free. I dont know how you could get around this except for rotating the order of the tools

Thank`s for the video. . The way You move the El-P`s like raking, does that make it more effective? Not to nitpick, but manuals says that the P should be held in line with the pins. but does the jiggling make it more effective? (I been thinking of buying the Kronos for a long time, and nice to see it in action.)

I don't think the jiggling is necessary or effective. Not sure why DL has gotten into the habit.

The silver one is from + - = % "The people that make the US 007 key machine , cant remember who I got it , the black long tension tool came with the gun

Your test is inconclusive as you are not doing things as they should be done both EPG's are quite equal in terms of output which is quite low compared to the higher end models but this can be compensated by using rakes rather than straight blades. With straight blades try adjusting your bounce settings and depth the pick correctly and keep the blade straight over the pins and make short bursts move the pick slowly up, down, left, right you will get more feedback from the tool and more success hopefully I also noticed that you were applying quite a bit of tension and keeping it on try applying light tension in a back and forward motion on / off this will enable the pins to move more freely and you will get a better chance of finding the shear-line. Thanks for the upload...

I've got four or five of the Majestic's that're dead; Where'd you track down that silver manual jobbie?
Shame LSC killed the servicing of the old Life-Aid.

You can still by Majestic , but you need to buy from USA, I have 2 new majestic s in the safe for a rainy day, the silver gun is cheap china $20 , its cheap but it still works.. I got if from one of the China suppliers, maybe even ebay. I got the Dino off Gumtree $100 from someone who did not have a use for it.

Hiya awesome video, I was wondering your opinion on which multipick to buy, and which ones better, out of this Kronos or the Artemis and which one came out first? From what I understand the Kronos is the older model? But is the Artemis as powerful? Sorry for all the questions I’m stuck on which one to get there’s not a huge amount of info on the Artemis

@@DrLockShop thanks mate I am definitely leaning towards to Kronos since I can find a lot more on that one, just the artimis is more compact and a little quieter 😅 so hard to make a choice haha

Hi, can you tell me the method you use please

    • @Mex_the_Fox
      @Mex_the_Fox 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Dr Lock Hi, probably your request is not serious - but I'll answer it despite the fact 😜 you're moving the pick gun way too much left and right and tilt it... And with the chronos it's sounds like you're not pulsing but going continuously on... But after reviewing your video every doesn't seem bad - just a little bit hectic

They work on cheap locks but there over priced your better off with a cheap snap gun

    • @DrLockShop

Hi, I find it good , faster then a snap gun, after a year of using it, I would buy another if needed,I have added it to my lockout kit.. then again some guys are just as fast with a hand rake, but not me I like it for lever sets when the snap gun hits the door frame, works well
