But Anthony Macri needs to calm down and be more in control of his emotions or he won't have good mechanics to work with, especially with what he did to his pit crew members a few weeks ago with the result of 2 leaving the team. Plus I made a bet with someone in which I said that Anthony Macri will have 2 WOO wins by the end of the October weekend at Port Royal Speedway next year or 2023. So he has now until October 2023 to get 2 wins against the WOO or I lose $100. Want Brent Marks to win but for atleast 2 WOO races between now and next October at Port Royal Speedway I need Anthony Macri to win twice.

Am I the only that thinks pro sprint car racing should be "unified"? Maybe have some system like they do in tennis, where there're 1000-points weekends, 600-points weekends, 400-points weekends and such so we'd see the best on a dirt oval race each other as often as possible 1000-points weekends could be the biggest 8 events (Eldora, Knoxville, Bristol, etc), then have 12-16 weekends worth 500 points... The season-end results would be the best ¿30? weekends of each driver. I'm sure this way we'd have more racing worth watching and it'd be really fun to see race organizers get serious trying to offer big money and such to be a top-level event.
@@NubsWithGuns the government probably gets a decent percentage of his earnings like they do for everyone else. Hell 50 50 winners for anything over $600 you have to fill out a tax form. Even with all of this Brent Marks and his team are ahead of everyone else in earnings this year.

How does the starting position for the main event work? Is it purely based on time trials or are there qualifying heat races? I see Haudenschild starting way in the back the past few races and wondering why that would be when he is generally quite fast. I have never seen an Outlaws race live...
They time trial for heat race starting position. Say there's 4 heats, 10 cars each. Fastest times start pole for heat races, next 4 fastest start outside pole of each heat, ect ect. They take the first 4 finishers of each heat and are given starting spots in feature in the same manner as the heats. First 4, second 4 and so on. Then there's a B main or last chance race. Usually only the first couple of finishers go to the main, everybody else goes home. The numbers I used I just threw out there. How many cars taken from heats depends on number of heats, but they always leave the last couple of feature starting positions open for the B main finishers.

So that means if you start in the back for the final you probably not only had a slow lap time for the qualifier, you also placed poorly in your heat race (or had mechanical issues and came back in the B main). Still suprising to see someone like Haud start way back, I would assume his lap times are decent.

There's a good crop of women drivers coming up through the USAC Midgets. Whether they make the move to the winged 410's is left to be seen. They do rip and aren't afraid to race it up with anyone.

Go to Eldora. Such a special place.
