I’m not sure wether to go for miss hanigan or rooster (I’m a trans boy but seen as a girl by my school) So it’s either tomorrow or easy street I’ve done some amount of vocal masculinisation and it’s ruined my voice slightly (I used to hit a high A but now I can’t get close to that)
I watch a lot of clips from high school productions on TH-cam because I love seeing how earnest the kids are. The performances I've seen over the years have ranged from not-so-great to truly thrilling. But, I do think it's important if commenting on a specific video to keep in mind that this is high school, not Broadway, not a national tour, not regional theater, not summer stock. School productions often have limited budgets, limited rehearsal time and the performers have had little or no training, being so young. One thing is always true - the kids are doing their best. Also remember how much courage it takes to audition for a show - and how much courage it takes to get up and perform in front of an audience of hundreds of people. So, if you're going to say "terrible" at least offer some constructive criticism, some specific observations. Otherwise, to be honest, it seems like you're just being mean. If you're not going to make the effort to go further than one negative word, maybe it's best just to skip leaving a comment. #theimportanceofbeingearnest
