In an army created by Magik they were the one chosen and even if Rex wasn't the oldest or the most ranked he was the one with the most experience, and that meant everything, so he was the one to lead them all. It was impossible, it was suicide, it was their mission, their orders. And good soldier follow orders... To kill the beast of Zillo off they went.
But the one thing, the one important point that wasn't under their controle, was there loyality to their Emperor. They sweared a holy oath, to follow all orders of His Majestic, the Emperor Palpatine, so they were to blind to see the manipulation everywhere around them. They knew, deep in there hearts, that one day, they would be forced to do something so bad, that it would chase there souls forever,but they still followed their ruler, in hope that the highest of church Pope Yod-a would free them, but in the end, even their faith was not able to stop their loyality.

I really MISS this show. Watched it ever since it came to Netflix and had a marathon on Disney Plus when season seven was coming out. I watched Revenge of the Sith a few weeks ago, and all I kept thinking about was Darth Maul, Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex surviving Order 66. Even though we didn’t get the fight of Anakin vs. Obi-Wan in Clone Wars animation, the show ended perfectly. Just wish there were more episodes then twelve.😢😢😢

I can't be the only one who spends part of each day simmering with bottled-up rage thinking about how our heroes were completely forgotten by the galaxy, their deeds unsung, their graves unmarked, their legacy dragged into the mud by lesser men known as 'stormtroopers'.
I plan to make a fan fic one day where the entire star wars universe is converted into a medieval style. Of course its not just gonna be a re-skin of everything and their events, its gonna have a story. A story about a lost order, remnants of a bygone age, fighting against one battalion. A battalion everyone thought was dead. A battalion who will fight and die to protect who they are. They are the 402nd. They are the Vanguard; of what is surely to come.
