Hi Karin, thank you for your comments. I am glad you noticed these scenes around 3:00, I moved the camera on purpose to catch the reflection of the building on the small pool of water..
I really enjoy all these wonderful videos. The place is charming. I like the blue and white paint against the pink flowers. I've seen that in another country. The brick work is very nice too. Gives it a unique look.
It's so beautiful on those islands. I recommend a day trip to see the marbles on Delos island from Mykonos. I spent my some of my childhood summers on Mykonos.
Great filming as always Vic. My fav area is Pisa Lavadi and the beach there. It was so so quiet in 1970s, dread to think what it is like now. I remember motorbikes were forbidden during siesta, and so few tarmac roads.
You will be amazed how much everything has changed!! Not every change is good however, even though the roads have been paved, traffic and especially noise form the motorbikes is sometimes too much to handle..
The streets are like a maze and that was done deliberately because Paros used to be attacked by pirates so when a pirate ship approached the people could flee away and the pirates wouldn't find anyone.
a couple years ago I sustained injuries from a fall that means my traveling is now done vicariously from my "armchair". A person rarely knows what unexpected turns Life will take. So I appreciate your videos more than you know and join you in encouraging people to get out into the world and experience new things and (mostly) new people. The Internet has its purposes but it's nothing like doing it for real.Thank you thank you.
