As a DM-fan from the very beginning, I have to thank you very much for this historical movie. A big part from the soundtrack of my life. Love it! 🎶 🎹 📹
So great to see Vince and Martin playing and singing side by side like at 20:08. :) Great to see Fletch help out on the keyboards. And Dave already was a great frontman. "Great" seems like a nice word to summarize the experience. :)
This is cool as fuck. Just started getting into them about a month ago. First thing I do of course is go looking for bootlegs with the original members(AKA Vince) lol. Thank you for the upload.
You've done a brilliant job, could you please give me the raw video used for this remaster? I would like this because I wish to remaster this concert myself.
I have the original betamax master tape that i filmed my self......still have this tape....i also had a meet and greet with the boys and they did autographs on record covers that i still have today ❤
I don't think he ever really played anything. A little singing and some faux bass synth. Most of "his parts" were sequenced. Of course the majority of the music is/was sequenced.
Listen to the octave bass line in photographic, if that was sequenced I’d would be disappointed by the small errors and it being always just a little out of time (late)
I think in the early days he played more live. You can hear it. the main bass line was sequenced, but he would play a second bass part overtop. All in all it was pretty effective and cool. Later on he would do really basic non-bass parts. IMO their live playing was way better in the earlier days. I saw a video of barrel of a gun live from the 90s and i swear to god he plays presses down one key over and over in the whole song. lol.
Dear joel, i agree that Vince Clarke leaving was an ok idea. The best of erasure vol 1 is an outstanding tour de force by the electronic pop duo.. Heavenly Action is a personal favorate of mine that has recently been incredibly remixed! sfp
Vince put together a lot of great songs in a really short time. Every other band would be salivating to have this many quality songs in their catalog, let alone for a one album plus period.
This is absolutely wonderful to watch. Thank you so much for making this available for us and for future generations. So much fresh energy and raw musicality. I would love to know how this was recorded.
Very good video and excellent sound! Amazing! I was there during that concert. Do you know by any chance who was in the pre-program? I forgot the name, but it was excellent as well. Thanks
I make high quality Acapella and Instrumental from the original track. I'll be happy if you listen. Depeche Mode - Photographic (Some Bizzare Edit) (INSTRUMENTAL) UKAMIX HQ+24bit
DM❤4 ever!!
Great Performance and Diamonds and Masterpieces!!! ❤❤❤😂!!! Great Concert!!! I am Michael Matthias Frohn Mühlstroh und Jesus Christus!!! Overwehlming und Wunderschön und Wunderbar!!! Make my day, Depeche Mode!!! Buy me Dave Gahan!!! Do Something good for me, Martin Gore!!! 😂❤❤❤!!! Thank you for this music!!! ❤😂❤❤!!! I Love my Christine and black Betty!!! Forever!!!
Exactly SAME thought. But both Dave and Martin have blues/rock roots and influence so synths, after SOFAD are just a legacy. Both enjoy giving a rock band feeling when they tour. Almost every DM song, when played with real drums sounds weak, bland and incomplete.

Love seeing how they were utilizing in the intro even back then. One of my fav parts of their shows every tour. Nothing beat Pimpf in 87

Merci , merci.....dépêche mode for ever....jusqu a ma mort....
You clearly put a lot of work and dedication into this, really well done. Too bad about "Just Can't Get Enough", but so it goes.

There was no Recorded of Big Muff at the concert I'm reated about it.

is it just me or did Fletch get worse at playing music as he got older?

@@TheChristafershawn not really. There’s a great violator tour backing tape video on TH-cam. The backing tracks are pretty bare.
On stage, he was mostly pretending to play from very early on, and even less as the years passed. The gall of the man was limitless.

Unos meses antes Joy Division toco aquí en Paradiso.
10 years before Nirvana ;) best Paradiso show in. My opinion
And 5 years earlier Kraftwerk had their most ethereal and beautiful concert with early versions of T.E.E and Europe Endless.
😮😮😮😱😳😳😳😳😳😳
I love early DM and this is amazing, thanks for sharing. I often wonder how they would have been if Vince hadn’t left.
Vince really leaned into his pop sensibilities with after Yaz with Erasure. I think it worked out for the best.
Alan Wilder moved them on to a higher plane , Vince ended up in drag doing Abba cover songs
