I remember walking down that pier just like you did all the way to the end and looking for a spot to set down. We then walked to that beach there on the rights I absolutely loved going there!

I lived 10 minutes from here for many years. And now I don't. I feel as if I could still step outside my door and be on the pier again, but I can't. I miss it dearly.

When I lived in L.A. in the early 90's, I used to go to the Santa Monica Pier and sit on a bench and do my college homework or just sit there and day dream looking at the water. Back then, the Pier did not have the ferris wheel and some of the other crap that is now there.
Love the videos and the quality, sadly the use of large logo (small would be just as bad) kills the "looking thru a window" effect that is the purpose of 4K and above. Got to be some way to prevent graphics, maybe a fine or jail term?

The only time I've been to the Santa Monica Pier was at night sadly. Missed the sunset by less than two hours SMH 😕😔
