With Solar she was still a beginner. And she did well for a starter. She has gotten wayy better
And she did it live in front of thousands of people! She slayed!
The problem was that she was wearing tights and couldn’t get a good enough grip. There’s a reason why pole dancers wear minimal clothing

The vocal QUEENS!! And sorry but other groups WISH they could do half the things Mamamoo does. Also, Solar was a beginner at this time. She is a lot better and smoother now. Btw she’s the 1st solo artist to ever do something like this at a Korean award show. They’re not afraid to do what they want which is refreshing in Kpop. And Hwasa is the.Queen.periodt. The most likeable, talented, humble, thicc DIVA. Everyone (boys&girls)either wants to be her friend, be with her, or be her.

@@quincym7817 Well where to even start ? There's so much to watch but I would check out their Immortal Song Medley performance to see what they are truly capable of (its not their own songs but a concert medley of cover performances they did on a show called Immortal Song)
Also Gogobebe and Egotistic are good follow up music videos as well as Yes I Am, You're the Best etc but Mamamoo are always 10x better live so definitely search up some great live performances they've done like MAMA 2019 performance of HIP, Melon Music Awards and Seoul Music Awards

This was the performance that made me pay attention and fall in love with President Hwasa! Now I’ve fallen hard for all MAMAMOO! I love their songs, live vocals, live stage performance, their cohesiveness, teamwork, unique styles, how they contribute to all aspects of their song lyrics, song arrangements, stage wardrobe, powerhouse vocals, being themselves and being unapologetic about their own image. MAMAMOO is self-made is a true rags to riches story! All of these women had struggled to be where they are, nothing was ever handed to them easily in life. They are the underdogs that rose to the top, similar story to BTS. That’s why MAMAMOO and BTS are my 2 favourite K-pop groups. I can feel their story when they sing and deliver their honest lyrics. They are truly being themselves and expressing it through their music. They are real musical artists!
