I've noticed a lot of people hover/unhover their mouse over Srams in the timeline to keep track of their MP when you don't actually really need to. As long as you have the AP/MP numbers popping up on screen when they are used, that's all you need. Gives you more time to focus on cells and spells used rather than looking at the timeline, away from the fight. Keeping track of these numbers even gives more information than you would think. For instance, we know that the order that the numbers appear in reflect the order the actions were done in, so if you see -MP/-AP/-MP then you know they used a spell in between moving, which could be the placing of a trap. And for some reason, when you have animations turned on and traps are activated, you can still see the animation of the trap activating, so you literally see where the trap was placed (lol @Ankama). On top of that, since you're keeping track of how many MP were used instead of how many are left by looking at the timeline, you can never lose count if the Sram plays super fast and does multiple things before you have time to hover/unhover and process what happened. The delay at which information is displayed on screen can't be reduced by playing really fast, so it's easy to adapt to this method of analyzing a Sram's behavior. Great vid though, as always, a pleasure to watch!
That's a good point. It's going to take a long time to unlearn this habit though :D If a Sram breaks down their mp use to 1 by 1, I don't even bother looking for them most of the time. There are just so many options for where they could be. It may be worth checking a few predictable cells, but in general I only try to guess their location if they use large blocks of mp at once.
