i still remember when this tank was OP haha... i hate how everythings getting buffed every year but maps stay the same, whats the point when every tank goes 50+ km/h and has 500m viewrange on the same 1000m maps from 5 years ago
The positive thing is that WG has like 10 new maps lined up, some of which are pretty large and out of the ordinary for the cookie cutter WoT map format there is now. Hopefully we see them soon and in the random battles queue!
light tanks used to have different match making (tier 8 LTs were treated like tier 9 tanks), when that was changed they just put the old LTs a tier higher but they couldnt change premium tanks so black dog got really OP because it was a tier 9 at tier 8 essentially
The original Bulldog w/ the 10 round mag was the most fun & dynamic tank ever in WoT. The overall direction of WoT since, eg. the anti-player strategies designed to monetize every-single-aspect of this game... from banning freely removable equip to spamming OP premium after OP premium, has rendered WoT more of a time-sucking money-pit than Blizzard's WoW EVER was. The BlackDog is a prime example of this OP power creep. When originally released, the BlackDog was straight up OP for a LT. Fast forward to 2020-2021 and the BlackDog is mearly an avg LT. The new t8 "Light" tank king is the Bourrasque, a MEDIUM tank with 720 burst and insane mobility & camo.
I used to play the old Bulldog a lot. Compared to it, this tank felt massively underpowered. When Tier X light tanks were introduced and all the line of light tanks got massively nerfed, Blackdog parameters were left unchanged. This was a confirmation to me that WG considered it underpowered, too.
The US Bulldog with the ten shot clip, & the rammer mounted, loved it & played all the time. Once they took away the auto loader, I took it out for 3 battles right away. It now just sits in my garage. Now I take out my tier VI & VII light tanks.
Day 2 of AMX CDA. It is actually a shockingly good tank for today's 15:1 simulator teams where you need to be able to flex and retreat. - Insane accuracy - Banana out of 10 velocity - 260 Pen - Speed - 8 degrees of gun depression allows you to work ridges like a boss - Trollish armor
10:12... what's funny is once I reached the M41 Bulldog, it had an autoloader for about, a day lol. The next day it was like, Tier 8 suddenly, and no auto loader. I eventually sold it... \O>
We all miss the old light tanks Personally the T37 and amx 12 t, 13 75 and 13 90 were my favorites. I remember getting the best average score of any player in the 13 75 for a while and ever since ive almost been a light tank only player. I barely play anything but lights anymore
@@AliceC993 thats true but nowhere near as much as they could back then tbh. The light tank game was harder but a skillful player could also do more compared to these days

Great content. You are so good at illustrating how to get best results out of differing styles of tanks. I was at sea with this one until watching this video and then I started trying to use the tank the way you did (of course I failed to get anywhere near) but the few things that worked mean I have now made the my favourite T8 LT (even though I have to play it totally differently to the way I do others). TY again.
honestly...I hated that tank so much. It was bad in everything (no armor no speed ) man when I realized how that tank works and I equipped the top gun on it. Man it is the best dmg dealer on tier IX for sure.
Same. Kept being told the hawk was a better version of the blackdog so I ending up buying. Found it to be much worse in play though. The blackdog is just such a monster of a damage dealer for a tier 8 LT. I actually even do better in it than the LT 432.
I just got this tank from Blackmarket. I like it though I suck at it so I am glad you produced your video. Your game play helps me figure out how to play it.
I have HWK and it is tricky tank to play-quite big for LT and i think that blackdog is for some reason more easy to play🤷♂️. Massive downside of HE shells is speed, they are quite slow
I love this one to, when a buy it, I was not ready for it, but, one year later, it is now a real pleasure. I have the american one for a few days, to get T49, he is most quicker and agile, but the gun is missing ;)
It's tough to find a WoT or WoWs TH-camr who is entertaining, not too full of themselves, and doesn't whine about arty/carriers half the damn time. You had me at 'Bless me.' Priceless.
Skiiiiilllll these last two machines in the vids are the perfect wheelie hunters, slap a turbo on that M4190 and you've got the closest thing to 80kmph (76.4) with next to medium gun handling and soviet medium DPM. The HWK is a more honest light tank that's better suited for nowadays while the 90 is a blend of what was epic back in the day. PS load up a generous amount of HE on the 432 as peeps dont expect 300 aplha with 4 sec reload :) may all clown cars burn in hell!
i think whole american lt line is created part spotting part damaging...not the best lt in game, but awesome guns, good dpm and and very good in endgame situations...i remember old bulldog killing s.conq in 2 clips...45 seconds...brilliant tank...it's going to be missed

But someone like Emila_FV had/has a channel as well. And just look at their stats...scary stuff. But with all of this I certainly do not want to sound negative about skill!
I prefer my lights to be lights ... even if I like to do the juicy dmg ... for both I have better ones. M41 is not the ugly child in my garage, I have it and I enjoyed the time ... but it is not my favorite baby. :D

Back in 1990 to 1992 I was a M41 Walker Bulldog tank platoon commander. It was a highly modified M41 but still the same old tank. Loved it

About 2 days ago I was playing Black Dog myself, and in one battle I instantly killed ELC EVEN with HE, by knocikng out all of it's crewmembers :D

Used to do triple bulldog platoons with the 10 round back in the day. Absolutely nuts

13 90 is still very good, even the BC 12t can shine on occasion

this is a low-hp medium tank with a good camo and handling. just don't try to spot with this thing if you are not a good player
I have 2 marks on it which is pretty rare occurence for me. Im just mediocre player who isnt able to 3 mark anything but i really enjoy this tank.

Pretty sure HE changes will only affect shells that don't penetrate,so if you penetrate you should be good after they go into effect.
