Here's a good tutorial for the intro: th-cam.com/video/nUjy1HpSEvM/w-d-xo.html And here's a good one for the rest of the song: th-cam.com/video/KkaZa9EJXeE/w-d-xo.html Enjoy!
Sir, writing this with utmost gratitude, love and respect. Started learning the keyboard this year, and this is the first song i learned and performed today at a choir event and it went great ❤️ just wanted to thank you. Really had the best day of my life so far. 🎊 Will upload a cover soon.
At the beginning you play with the right hand: G B G F# B F#. And when you put the hands together you play G B G B F# B F# B. And by the next chords the same. First B B B F# B F# and later is it B B B B F# B F# B. And so on. The second way is the correct way?! Or have I see something wrong? And I hope, you know what I mean. My English isn't the best 🙈
I'm happy to try to help you with this, Alexsia, but I'm not sure I understand your question yet. Please tell me the counter time that's showing on my video when I begin playing the first section you're referring to, and then tell me the counter time that's showing when I begin playing the second section. Also, I need to know if the letters you listed above refer to chords or to individual notes.
@@BrianWhitmerMusic haa.....wasn't that an Elvis song :) Anyhow....I think I learned this song 8 years ago this way...maybe it was from your video now that I think of it. I want to watch the live video again to see that crazy piano player do it and double check that its this way...PS: I love the vid and the honesty but I'd love to see you do a series of Piano tutorials done in the style of "Full Metal Jacket:...."LADIES....this is your piano this your keyboard....you will sleep with your piano....without me my piano is useless..." haa
What other Keane songs are you keen to learn on piano? Let me know in the Comment section.
I see what you did there :D . I’m keen to learn Somewhere Only We Know :]

Tbh.. im stuck at the verse.. still don't understand fully of what to do😅 but this a really good tutorial
Master the intro first. The verse should come more easily after that since it's based on the intro.

Turned off when you said it was in key of G. Why would you? Lol
I am a cruel, cruel man.

@@toys2work I LOVE the idea of a drill sergeant piano teacher! That should have been my shtick all along.

You are not wrong, my friend. But that's why I included a time-stamped video navigator in the description box.
Too much talking. Imo
Fair enough, but that's why I included a time-stamped lesson navigator in the description.
