Sometimes our childhood trauma causes us to overshare information because of a deep fear of abandonment we experienced in childhood. So sharing is a coping mechanism for it so we can feel accepted and never get abandoned. We need to recognize certain behaviors that came about as a result of trauma, neglect, mistreatment etc. in childhood so we can gain a better understanding of certain behaviors and rewire our minds to do the opposite.
