It'd be cool as shit if people tried to act like the actual factions and the legion went around trying to conquer shit but the helmets who still play Gmod this frequent would never lmao
The never KOS rule on every server doesn't even suprise me. I've played small niche online games with faction pvp, you could disable pvp if you were not in a faction except on end game map designed for faction PVP where it was forced on and people you would kill from the other faction would DM you and say why you PVP man this game is PVE, while it is actually a PVP game seriously. And some people would join a faction then get engaged by ennemies on random maps and cry because it's "PVE game" ffs. It was EU servers, you would play this game on russian servers it was chaos.
the guy welcomed you in seemed like a very cool and smart guy, he volunteered to read a script that is 15 pages and he definitely enjoys it. You should have been friend with a cool guy like that zim
