I charge and always have charged at 4-5c. Never once had issues and I’ve been playing with lipos for 15 years or so. Manufactures suggest C ratings to keep them in a safety bubble. Some batteries today (and years back) have a 5c charge rating. I have a hand full of models, 2-3 batteries for each. A high power 2 bank charger. At the field with this set up I fly non stop.
