great video, wife and I are going june 24 and staying and riu jambo for a week Was the Safari Blue tour worth the money? (not looked into how much it costs yet) - did you find it overly crowded etc? Also, any tips you could offer for the hotel, activities, booking (inc the restaurant as I've heard it's via an app) - all would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you! You and your wife will love it Yes the Safari Blue tour was worth it! I can’t remember how much it was now tbh but it’s super organised and the seafood buffet is incredible. The beginning is a little crowded when you’re getting on your boats but it’s well organised and not too crowded on the boat. We booked the Riu Jambo hotel through booking.com and the Riu Jambo app is easy to use to book your restaurant reservations etc - we done this in advance I do recommend staying a night or two in stone town though, it’s very cool
Hey! Riu Jambo was more for families - lots of activities! And no, the night life was pretty chill. Riu Palace is next door and you have access to the same beach. Riu Palace is more for couples from what we could see but Riu Jambo was great for couples too - many honeymooners!
@@Lindy88888 we took malaria tablets before, during and after our trip to be on the safe side. But a few people I know went without taking them. I think Zanzibar is pretty safe for malaria but it’s up to you really
Hey Ryan, the Riu Jambo hotel was class mate. We stayed there 3 nights and didn’t leave the hotel once haha. Plenty of restaurants, things to do and beach access 👌🏼
Amazing video! And brought back so many happy memories from when I visited. Makes me want to go again!! 🙌
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow what a great trip!
Thank you!
Paje is one of the best place too must visit
I heard about this place but we didn’t make time for it! Maybe next time 🙌🏼
Thank you for your footage.
I will travel there for 2 week on first June.
Enjoy! We went in June and the weather was fantastic ☀️

Thank you, cheers!

Do you know the difference between Riu Jambo and Riu Palace? Also, did Riu Jambo get too loud at night with parties?

Hi, which hotel did you stay for your first night?
Hello, we stayed at the Spice Palace Hotel in Stone Town on our first night. Was a very good location, central to most things
What is situation with #malaria? Did you take any anti mararics? Thanks 🌷

Awesome mate ..can't wait
Zanzibar its on East Coast of Africa not south east
As a northerner it felt quite South but personally it could be considered both - Africa is BIG
Ignorant white
Just came back from there
Just a pure waste of money
Hej so?
I thought it was reasonably priced to be honest! Where did you stay?
@@jamiespringa Royal Zanzibar
@@HanzoShama Interesting… for a holiday destination I thought it was worth the price. Good food, and amazing weather
