1960-D Penny Worth Money - How Much Is It Worth and Why?

I got a red..small over large date..double die..it's uncirculated..in fact it is perfect..
I'm not sure what to do with it..but...lol..I've lost so many good coins..but..anyway...

I've got a whole roll of the small date over large date but there's not a repunched mint mark mark , above the D. Do they all have the rpm on them?
How do I submit a coin photo to you for aprasial? I have a 1960-D in MS 60 WITH double D ( repunched??) I'm not sure at all what I have, but I obtained as a child between 1960 and 1964. Thanks
Wow! Thanks! So, I just found a 1960 D in my pocket... think I picked it up off the sidewalk last week, really didn't notice.
Sad part is it would be a VF-EF except Abe's cheak has a bright scrape from someone smashing it into the pavement.... so.. oh, well.
However, under a good 30x lens you can still see the doubling of the 6.
My question is I think I am seeing a lot of double strike indications on the reverse. Is there any known documentation of that?
I habe one with a slanted letters e and r in the word liberty , would it be worth anything?

Interesting! The one I saw seemed to have some sort of die crack on the 6, which can be misleading for this date.

Several years back I obtained two sets of three 1960 D pennies ( where the D is considered to be dancing. The D changes position from High, Middle and Low under the date). Is this really a thing to collect?

Hey Christian, I bought a BU roll of 1960 D pennies, and upon going through them I believe they are a small date version and some of them have doubling on the date.. do u know of this variety?
That is really cool Donnie. I don't really know, but one of the DDOs is a Small Date over Large Date, which could be what you have.

I just started hunting through pennies from my bank i got lucky and found the double ment mark in my first 75 dollars in penny hunting not sure how to add a picture wish i could i was excited to find it!

I have the 1960D and1950 D
I found one yesterday. I would like advice. If not, that's ok too. You do a fantastic job. No B.S. Thank you. It's worth a look though. It almost looks like it was cleaned. But I honestly have no idea. Its definitely DDO. No doubt about it. What would they mayor of treasure town suggest I do? Thank you sir.
I'd say if the DDO is super clear you can take a photo showing it and sell on eBay (lots of visibility), especially if it's cleaned probably won't be worth putting in a holder. Obviously if you like the coin you can keep it too!
What about the 1960 triple rpm? You didn't mention it.
So the ones like the one you had to show with no errors aren't worth anything but the original value?

Are there any errors in the 1969 pennies besides the 1969 s double die. Anyway you could post a list of all the 60 years and there potential errors as those found. I know this is a task. I have over 50 dollars of 60’s pennies and I have them sorted per year and want to get a magnifier and check all of them together and don’t want to miss anything. I also live in MI

I have a 1960 D double dye penny, that does not have the little d above the big d but is also doubled in God we trust and liberty, as well as some doubling in letters on the back. I also have a 1960 d penny that doesn't have the little d, has some doubling on front and back, both of my coins are different than the 2 you've shown here, id like some advice on what to do next!
