As a returning student who took Anatomy and Physiology 4-5 years ago I am incredibly grateful to have access to such detailed videos reviewing the themes and information I will need moving forward. As I was watching, I realized that I did remember more than i originally anticipated, so it was kind of a confidence booster.

Thank you Dr. Goodin. We may forget how important it is to lock in on spinal anatomy. The spinal column and trunk are crucial to keep safe and stable in all daily aspects of our lives, not just in sports and weightlifting.

This video is a great beginners guide to understanding the vertebrae and how important they are to the structure of the whole human body. Dr. Goodin does a great job of explaining how the vertebrae interact with muscles that attach to them and how the articulation surfaces interact with each other.

    Dr. Goodin,
Your video is so awesome. Coming from a community college and simply watching your mini lectures and your day 1 class meeting I was incredibly impressed at the structure and resources available through you personally. This anatomy review was much appreciated and needed. Going over content in depth breaks down the content into understandable pieces of information at a time. I learned in this lecture about the different kinds of curves that are observed in human nature. Before this mini lecture I was only aware of Scoliosis. I learned that the irregular shape of the spine that results in posterior concavity of the pelvic girdle is called "Lordosis". "Kyphosis/ Lumbar Kyphosis" is a result of a "flat back appearance" to different degrees that show up in an anterior concavity of the pelvic girdle. Scoliosis is simply the lateral curvature that appears in a spine.
