I’m a firefighter in Florida and was wondering where you guys come up with your workouts. I’ve been lifting weight for years but want to do more job orientated workouts. Keep up the good work and good luck 22-02!
I am one of the current recruit training officers. A lot of the workouts that you see the recruits doing are made up by our peer fitness personnel. As recruit training officers we sample the workouts before the recruits actually do them to see how challenging they are. We typically try and stick with body weight movements, things to improve cardiovascular strength and job related tasks
@@brennanfarmer500 Thats great thank you for the reply, I’m on duty today and stole a couple of your workout lol, pulling the LDH between the legs was terribly good. Good luck with this class And stay safe brother.
First off, borders should not matter. Apply at cnlvjobs.com. Secondly, prepare mentally for 20 weeks of pure discipline. Most people don’t understand what it actually takes. Physically, crossfit style workouts help out a lot. Taking the initiative to reach out to your local departments for mentorships to help with the basic firefighter skills always helps. Contact me on our instagram page if you want to schedule a call.
LOVE HOW THEY SHOW US THE CADETS STATUS, THESE VIDEOS ARE GREAT
we want to show the most real experience we can.
Where is the hiking trail@ 14.35? Where is trail head?

Loving these videos. What can I be doing at home to better prepare for the fire academy? Different state but I assume most applies
