I really don't think renting will effect the price of skins. Like the main reason a lot of people want skins is that you can sell them later if you want for minimal loss. Like if you want to rent the whole kilowatt collection for a year you need to spend £104. Whereas you could have bought an MW ak inheritance you get to keep permanently for that money. Or get a FT chrome cannon and inheritance for just a little bit more.
The reason I think the prices will change is more to do with supply and demand. The supply should go down as less cases are opened to keep. And that would mean you end up with a lesser supply. If the item is in more demand the price goes up, if less it goes down. I feel like that makes sense no?
not in the long run but it will in the short term as long as the case is rentable, so imo the smart thing to do is to stack on some cool skins from rentable cases, like the inheritance (would be my top pick) because the more cases are burned the less supply, and as the only full white ak so far, demand might be steady for it.
