I have one of these, but it has a black front panel. I also have two Cubic Comm R-3021 receivers that have no controls except a power switch/breaker on the black front panel.
The black panel sounds really cool. You ought to post pics of it. Sounds like your ‘faceless’ 3021s are remote controlled.
