Not as good as 19 years old Coutinho in terms of dribbling and skill, but in terms of explosivity and aggresivity this man is really amazing, looks like he can adapted in high pressing system quickly
Teams are defending deep against Liverpool, and we needed techanically gifted players, Klopp tried Elliot at the beginning of the season and he showed excellent flashes of skill but he got injured quickly. Players like Henderson, Milner are work horse midfielders where as Keita has good abilities to run with the ball forward but what of it if there is no pace to run. In addition, Keita doesn't have the vision and technical ability like Carvalho and Elliot. It was clear we seriously lacked a creative player since we didn't score in 3 finals. But with the addition of the Carvalho and the fully fit Elliot we might be possesing the next Coutinho in our hands. I think Klopp regreted not bringing Firmino earlier in the UCL final as he was our only creative midfielder in the attacking third.
Henderson is a different type of midfielder. Less agile but greatly compensates with superior long passing capabilities. Carvalho carries the ball forward himself.
He reminds me so much of Coutinho. I have a feeling this guy is going to be bossing the midfield in 4 or 5 years. Then someone like Madrid will sign him for over 100 million and Liverpool would have made a huge profit.
