- If you want skip to the fun part of the off-roading session skip to the 5:30 time of the video! This weekend we hit the bowman lake trail and followed all the way through to meadow lake. The winter weather really chewed up this trail created crazy water crossing, mud pits and ruts everywhere!

Great video! Do you have any recs for trails at Tahoe National Forest? So far decided on Soda Springs, but still up for recs. Hoping for an area near snow for sledding as well.
Thank you 🙏🏽 mmm there’s a lot out there near by bowman, but they might be closed out for the snow season. I usually use onX or trails off-road when I want to find a trail, Hope that helps!
Nice video man Im slowly learning about Bowman Lake from your post here!!! I know its a good idea to add full skid plates before hitting off road trails.
Do you recommend having a lift on 3rd Gen Tacoma to make it over a lot of obstacles on this trail?
I don’t have full skids but it’s definitely worth it to have em. I don’t think I hit anything but the front skid. A lift is definitely worth it to help with the kinda bad exit angle of the taco but I wouldn’t say you need it. Hope this helps!

What psi did you drop to on all your tires prior to driving the truck?
I usually aim for 25ish. But when it’s muddy or sandy I use a much much more psi.
