    I was thinking about getting these in Velcro instead of the Sabas SuperSoft-Hook & Loop. They are sold out of the Sabas yet these Phenom are top of the line.
    Looking at the comments maybe I go with SG-210S Sparring Gloves instead.

      I just ordered the SG-210S Sparring Gloves
      White / 16oz. I’ll see how they are. I’ll most likely get them in 2 to 3 weeks .

    Quick question: What's the difference between the pro phenom 202 sparring gloves and the ordinary phenom sparring gloves 210 ?

  • @bmcormick13

    What's the difference to the SG-210s?

    • @hectoribarra1245
      @hectoribarra1245 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I had the same question. I emailed Phenom & they responded:
      "Both models of gloves are very comfortable and durable. There are however two main differences. The SG-210 has a more broken in feel compared to the SG-202 which has a more dense outer padding layer and will take a little time to break in. The cuff on the SG-202 is more supportive but some people prefer a bit of flex which we've designed in the SG-210 cuff."

    Is there any real difference between the normal 30/40 pound everlast gloves vs grant or winning for sparring other than the name... need a decent pair. But don't want to spend a lot more if they are actually the same thing and your just paying for a name ?????????

      honestly, I would save up a little to at least get a glove in between the 150-200 range as it will be more worthwile. Gloves under 100 don't have long lifespans at all and normally are compromised in comfort.

    Just got these in velcro and theyre very high quality, just fit very small. 14 oz fits like tight 12 oz. Im 5'10" 170lb, 8" from heel of palm to tip of middle finger and i cant wear hand wraps with these or my fingers go numb and feel like theyre smashed together. If youre around my size or bigger get 16, or 18 oz... or maybe just different gloves with a bigger hand compartment
