Good level of detail here, thank you! Looking at all those right-click menu options showed me that this module is even better thought out and feature-packed than I had realised. Amazing work from Mind Meld!
@@AndreaArturoGiuseppeGrossi I think 60$ for both extensions it's too expensive. But there's another reason. For me the fun with modular is to figure how to combine modules to get results. If you have modules that do everything like this one why not build a super module that does really everything and you don't need to create nothing. One might just implant a neuro link that turns your common thoughts into music and nobody needs to learn how to play any instruments or composition and we'll have no more need for musicians at all.
@@bernardinaizidoro4924 ShapeMaster Pro is $30 not $60. And you are not just paying for the expanders, in fact you are mainly paying for the sync and quantising which was by far the hardest and most time consuming part of this module to code. While ShapeMaster does do a lot, it still needs creative input from the user to get good results out of it. it's just a powerful tool that helps you express your creativity - it doesn't make you creative. But for the record I would love a neuro link that turned my thoughts into music - I honestly can't think of a more direct creative route than that :)
@@bernardinaizidoro4924 You made your point but I totally disagree with you. For the following reasons. 1) the module and its addons are $30. 2) the module don't "do everything". It does a lot of stuffs indeed but it doesn't play for you and that's your biggest misunderstanding. It's not a module that plays for you. It's you that play a module. If you suck, a module don't make you better. 3) you still have to learn how to play modules, the more complex, the more things you need to learn in order to play it properly. You sound exactly like those who used to rant about MIDI in the '80. We will always need musicians, even with that neuro link you described: because if a "musician" is a sucker, there will be no instrument on Earth that will make him a better musician. So yeah. I like to tweaks with modules myself (or I would not use VCV at all, don't you think?) but I like to tweak with ALL the modules I can put my fingers on. Oh, I forgot: the basic ShapeMaster is free. Just saying... ;-)
This question might be a bit off topic but seeing you select and show the waveshapes voltage brings me to electronics and Oscilloscopes. Do you think this could be addapted to make an electronics Oscilloscope?
How easy is this to set up in your DAW( I use Cakewalk)? The reason I ask is that I've heard that the basic VCV Rack uses a bridge to do this which is prone to crashing.
This is terrific software for a crazy low price. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Amazing module, just dipping into it, mind blown....
Thanks for these videos. Very helpful in learning this module!
My educated guess is that this module well worth its price... I'm so tempted... 😍
Don't be
@@bernardinaizidoro4924 why? Care to explain?
