The sad part is that Peter really believed that if Doc truly knew, he would not hurt him. The fact that Otto KNEW and still wanted to kill him makes this hit so hard. He was beyond saving at this point

No because the Green Goblin wasn't a thing until issue 15 and tecneclly speaking Chameleon was Spidey's first enemy but Doc Ock was the first to give him a real challenge.
I know the chameleon was his first enemy, but I'm talking about his true nemesis which is the Green Goblin, yeah doc ock was his enemy for a while but the one who broke his soul was Norman Osborn. That bastard did some crazy shit to both Spider-man and Peter Parker.

this is probably my favorite boss fight of all time, we already knew what was gonna happen to octavius from the first scene, but the relationship between him and spiderman really made us not want to fight him
Part of me makes me feel: "LET'S KICK HIS ASS!" But the other part of me makes me feel: "DOC STOP THIS MADNESS!" With the recent news of Spiderman being out of the MCU, now I feel this is a battle between Sony (Doc Ock) and Spidey with the serum being the MCU. Spiderman CAN'T leave the MCU just yet. The entire climax to this game was amazing. This a great song, and all three main finale characters - Spidey, Doc Ock and May - had wonderful climaxes, each one suiting the character properly, and May's death and Ock's arrest were wonderfully crafted. What a game

This was the boss fight that changed me somehow Why am I saying this? because deep down, Doc Ock was relatable like Spidey (in my opinion) I really thought he would've helped Spidey, but, he became corrupt, evil, jealous, and lusting for power. This is one of the few boss fights where I didn't want to fight Ock But, if it meant saving the city from devil's breath, then I'll damn sure put up a fight.
Personally I don't notice the music sometimes because I'm wrapped up in the fight but when round 2 on the side of the building started i got hyped as hell it really sticks with you and one of the best incarnations of the characters.
The raw emotion emitting from Peter during this fight combined with the fact that there's so much at stake is what makes this fight one of my favorite final bosses in a video game ever.
When Peter shouted "NOT MORE THAN IT MEANS TO ME" I thought he was going to rip Otto's arms off like he did in the comics when Ock nearly killed Black Cat.
My order brothel he made me laugh so hard. When I was playing the final boss fight my brother came up to me and Yelled to me you meant so much to me 😂😂😂
