Well, nearly two years later I'm moderately to severely depressed, on anti depressants, have a nicotine addiction, trust issues, severe anxiety, and haven't been able to even attempt to start anything with a girl I think is attractive. I often times tried to cover up my emotions with substance abuse, not talking to people about my emotions, and using stupid activities to distract me, which inevitably didn't work and just made things worse, which I've barely started to pick up the pieces to and fix myself within the past month or two. Don't try to runaway from your emotions, it may seem childish or embarrassing to have a heartbreak affect you so heavily, but it's serious and if not handled properly can spiral you out of control like how I did last year. (Sorry for ranting about my life, I just want you to understand that talking to a professional can save you from self destruction. Also, on another note if you two ended up back together then congratulations, have fun and that means all this was pointless :))
