Very well made tutorial. Simple and easy to understand. I loved the extra information presented on screen as text while you are given the lesson. 100% perfect
Hi Kenji I'm Wezza from Angola I'm an enthusiastic excel and I'm impressed by the clear and simple way you explain complex formulas with the if statement.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great tutorial. I was pulling my hair out trying to work out how to put the brokerage rate in for sales over and under 10,000 etc.
Thanks so much for the template on 3 financial modeling Where can get the video for beginners or is there anything site you can refer to We appreciate you
10:20 We can enter this formula as well, right ```=SUMIFS(W4:W19,V4:V19,Z4,U4:U19,"*spain*")``` Don't need to put extra / unnecessary `&` sign. hope it helps
I've got a sheet with a column (C) with client ID's (formatted in 'general' and ranging from 1 to 10) and a column (D) with the hours of work i did for them (formatted in 'custom' as: hh:mm). Now I want to create a similar 'dynamic' overview table, like your example with spain and the olives, so that i can simply check my work for a specific client by filling in the client's ID number. I've got my formula like this: =SUMIFS(D3:D18,C3:C18,G3). So it's written exactly the same as the formula at 7:20 min in this video, but without a second criteria (i tried it with a second simple criteria but same result). It just doesn't want to work somehow. EDIT: apparently i needed to set the results cell to exactly the same format (hh:mm) for it to work. This really is a crucial aspect i feel gets left out a lot in these explanation videos. I get that you have to keep focused on the prime topic of the video, but it's such an important thing to overlook for a beginner. Speaking of which, all the examples given here are still rather simple. For me as a beginner it's hard to find mixes between different formats, like time (worked) and currency. 99% of examples on youtube just have simple bare numbers, which seems a lot easier to work with anyway
Fantastic stuff, well done. Have you got a solution for the following, I need excel to calculate the number of hours and minutes between a range of hours, for example, between the hours of 19:00 and 6:00 I get 30 dollars, were from 6:00 to 19:00 my pay is 25 dollars an hour. What formula do I use to calculate the following scenario, I start at 18:00 and finish at 7:00, obviously my penalty hours are 11, and total hours are 13, I need the formula to give me the penalty hours worked within the total hours. I would appreciate any help.
I hope I can get in touch with you. Been dealing with a nested IF statement that I really can't figure out. It's something like: Number of conditions - 3 Number of return value - 4 Help? 😅
Hello respected sir...thank you for your good lecture ....but please solve my one question that i have..Which formula i should apply that...if sale increased from 100 give incentive 2% but does not increase dont give
