Stats do matter. If you have bad 3 threes you'll miss. Same with blocks but no he blocks like shit.
emiel hayen Some stats matter. If you have a real money release that's easy to time you can hit 3's with a 60 rating. Vertical does more to help woth rebounding than the actual rebounding attribute.
Rebounding and the defensive attributes only seem to apply when a CPU is controlling your character. I have a PG and I'm averaging 8 rebounds and almost 2 blocks a game.
its crazy how 2k makes my 7 foot center with maxed standing layup miss standing layups just because someone is behind me there are even times when i have a 6'3 point guard on me and i back him up under the rim and do a spin and try to layup and i miss...wt is the point of playing center if 2k is just going to bs me
Why would you spin and layup under the rim
quincy james I feel you! They ruined the game in the paint because they couldn't figure out a way to stop paint abuse online. Their solution was to just bump your layups to make you miss.

I was watching your old BlackOps videos it had me dying.
If you want to dunk the ball after an offensive rebound, I found that if you move towards the rim or at least take a dribble first, you usually dunk the ball. I do this with centers all the time on ps4. Hope this helps
