One of the demands of pro-Palestinian activists who have set up protest encampments on university campuses in Canada and the United States is a severing of ties with Israeli universities.

I don't think protest should be allowed on school property, it is an educational instuition and not a political instuition. To protest, you do not need to live there, the encampments should be removed. If protestors want to protest then protest outside of the school property.
And about the protest, why aren't the Palestinian people encouraging the Hamas group to accept the seize fire plan to release the civilian hostages? They were innocent bystanders like the students.
And why not ask Netanyahu to step down? Go directly to the issue. He could have ran the war way better without all the casualties. Because he did not run the war in Gaza properly, the Houthis got involved and now the months long protest because of the mistreatment of the Palestinain people. Those are the 2 big things that put Netanyahu in the wrong when it was all avoidable.
