Oooh excellent question, Logan! Okay so I don’t dislike any of the image changes at all but I have to admit I kinda prefer Andrew and them for the 3 of pentacles and I know this will be an unpopular opinion and I almost can’t believe I’m saying this because I freaking love Spike to pieces but I might also prefer the old 8 of cups. Don’t come for me 🫣😆. TBH though, I’ll take one more image of Spike over my preference for the depiction of the card any day. So I suppose in that way I prefer the updated one.
I have no plans to get this deck but watched intently from start to finish - your tarot detective work is to be commended! Thank you so much for thoroughly reviewing all of the changes.

@ ohhhh, that’s a great theme; good mood decks. I have a love hate relationship with Hocus Pocus, even though I got married in Salem and I know I’ll eventually buy a home there. I will have to look at that deck again though and see if I like it. Do you have an Amazon shop for all of your recommendations? Curious. So they I can buy them from your storefront/affiliation. Thanks so much for the flip-throughs and telling us what was changed/corrected in the new guide books. Holy tarot card Batman! Those large cards are gigantic. I, like you, have small hands and have trouble with the standard size. I may get the small tin for the new guide book. The episode where Joyce died - killed me. I bawled. The Hush episode and Once More with Feeling are my favorite eps. I want to re-watch the series now. xo

Yeah so my Mega arrived about a week ago and I've had the standard for forever (dangit, I wish they'd update it too... maybe soon?). In the meantime, still trying to decide if I also should grab the mini... decisions decisions for realsies! The giant cards are my fave so far too tho, I gotta admit lol
I'm shocked and disappointed they didn't change the middle deck. Thank you for showing us all 3. How many cards have Angel? I feel like I only saw 2 or 3. That's a bummer for me. I love the deck otherwise. The colors are perfect
I’m not sure but you could watch the walkthrough back on double speed and count the Angel occurrences if you’d like. I’m sure they didn’t want to repeat him too many times when there were sooooo many characters to visit over the many season. TBH I thought it was pretty impressive that they were able to incorporate many characters and scenes in the deck without it feeling overwhelming or misplaced. I’ve seen some decks feel a bit jumbled and some feel like the same characters are repeated too many times. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. 💕
So to clarify, the traditional size deck they haven’t changed the guidebook to be corrected yet? And they didn’t make changes to cards either… disappointing really. Buffy is everything and honestly deserves better than this. I’ve always hoped for a Buffy tarot and was gutted when I found IE was doing it, I just knew it would be mostly awful 🙈 I love the scenes they used it’s just I don’t like the limited colours and I’m not overly fond of the art style either. Still wishing for a better Buffy tarot. Despite all that I do enjoy this deck.

They are likely just selling out the stock.
