Hot take: I like the actual flag of the Confederacy over the Battle Flag. It reminds me of the old Betsy Ross Colonial Flag. 👍 Happy Independence Day! 🫡🇺🇸

That was the idea but i fail to understand what the 3bars represent or was it just copied from Austria as the flag was designed by a german immigrant

Same here, its really interesting to me
I kinda like the third flag though, the one with the white banner and the bar on the right
I forgot what it was called, but i like that one more, even though i liked this one more
Also, i may be late, but happy July 4th to America 🇺🇲🎊🥳🫡
Im from the Philippines so im very late, i apologize 😅
Here in the Philippines, its Philippine-American Friendship Day
Our independence from the US occured on July 4th, so yes, at one point, we Filipinos shared an independence day with America 🇺🇲 🤝 🇵🇭
It was later to changed to June 12, which was the date of the original declaration of independence from Spain

@@TheTexanReicheverybody says *so and so lasted longer than the Confederacy* but did they consider that the Union was so confident, so absolutely sure of themselves, that they believed that the "rebellion" would be ended in a few months? Why did it take four years to put down starving, shoeless farmers? Genuinely a skill issue.
