I love salty vibes in fragrance! Duchaufour does it again.

A lovely, passionate review of this brand. They sound like they know who they are have a clear vision. That Tchai one intrigues me. Also, how cool that they give hidden coordinates for the owner to discover and further enhance the personal connection to the fragrance! My experience with the Himalayas was as a child and even though it’s been decades, the region left a beautiful and deeply beloved memory even today. Cannot remember the Taj Mahal and being there, but the mountains, the snow, the air, and the people yes!

It's nice when people connect to a perfume like this. It's just more illustration of the intangibles behind why you can love something, and others don't.

This brand sparked a big interest in me after your review. I love these brands that connect me to some place and Himalayas are forever attached to my soul after hiking around Manaslu.
I was not sure if it is really the case that this brand has an authentic attachment to the place or if it is just marketing but i am sure i want to sample them now :) do you have some samples that you can review as well? :)

I have Pashm from the brand and winter. I’ll report back after wearing them.

I would have googled the coordinates, as well! 🤓

I developed a fondness and craving for Heeley’s Sel Marin so much that I bought a bottle. Would you describe Hima Jomo’s Loon more/less salty than Sel Marin? Or are they too different to compare?

Oh yeah, I forgot about Sel Marine! I would say they’re similar amounts of salty but Loon is more complex because it changes and has more notes. Also it’s longer lasting but I think Sel Marine might need to be refreshed.
