The issue i have with 2k and the Mycareer is that no matter the story they tell its the same path, late lottery pick or worse, has to prove myself on the team, becomes starter in the first 10 games so not starting me outright is crazy. But no matter what you do on court it feels dead. How did i get a tripled double my 2nd career game with 34 10 and 12 and on the show Perk say im hot trash? Im Dunking on people and one of the fastest players on the court and im not athletic? How am i supposed to be immersed with stuff like that? They spend all these resources on a mycareer story for only one season of your Carrer and the rest is blah, you may as well just play association mode on players lock. All in all im just tired of having the same story and path to the nba as everyone else, let me be the #1 savior pick like Rose or LeBron. Or if im trash let me go undrafted to the g league.
If anything they should have different pathways/storylines for the story so instead of having a build that is super athletic and is said to be not as athletic as shep it should just have your weakest part of the build. The same dialogue gets dumb and weird especially when it doesn’t make sense to your player.
