Just wanted to share with everyone the spreader settings for a "Scotts Pro Edgeguard" spreader that i got from this company of the Humic DG.
Low setting is 4/Medium setting is 4.5/High is 5. The width of coverage for this model is 5'. Hopefully this helps some people with other model spreaders as well!

I think this is the channel for me. You live in Georgia. You deal with red clay. You deal with bermuda grass. I've been searching for months on how to help fix my terrible bermuda lawn. Between poor drainage, thatch, fungus, mold, fertz not working, extreme heat, etc etc. this journey has been a nightmare. I'm finally confident that this channel may be able to help.

I decided to give this a try. I got the 40lb bag since it's the better value for me - can get 4 apps ($18/app). I've been spraying humic acid, but have always wanted the granular version, so Doc I'm counting on you on this one.
You have a new subscriber. This is the kind of information I need on this organic stuff - not just get it, but some real discussion on it.

Awesome news!! Can't wait to get my hands on it. I have spent a lot of time since May trying to get my lawn back to 100% Bermuda. It was very neglected by the previous owner. It is looking great as far as weed control goes now I just need to get the right fert to rocket that those runners!

Hey Doc ! How many times will you be putting the humic acid down this year ? There is a lot of different info about humic acid and how much and when to apply. The bag of soluble powder I bought tells you how much to mix to a gallon of water to make a 12% solution then to mix 1oz of that to a gallon of water to be sprayed on the lawn but never states how big of an area will be covered. I asked and was told that the person who responded likes to use a gallon to cover 5000 sq. ft. (he likes to apply it lightly). But I've seen post that a gallon would cover 1000 sq ft.
Still not sure how many ounces of solution to add to a gallon of water. Many different suggestions out there. Some products say 4 oz to a gallon to cover 1000 sq ft. and apply every couple of weeks, one product says to apply 2-3 times a year at 3-9 oz per 1000 sq ft. Even you said to mix it in water and spray but never mention how much to use in a gallon of water or not.
    Have a great Thursday !!

I've used the Humic DG product just one time on my lawn, and I have to say it seems to work well. It has been unusally dry this year where I live and very hot too, but my lawn looks really green especially into late July! I have been using Milo for 12 years now, but I am very interested in the orgainic product you are rolling out, 7-1-2 sounds really great.

I recently found your channel and I'm hooked 😁.
I ended up purchasing both the Innova and the Humic DG. They arrived today and I couldn't wait to apply them. I applied them at 5 lbs/1,000 sq ft. and 7.75 lbs/1,000 sq ft., respectively. The best part is that, as soon as I finished, the rain came to help activate them. Anyway, these 2 products will be mainstays in my lawn program next year - especially, now that I know the rain comes with the purchase 😉.
I live near Chicago and, unfortunately, the lawn season is coming to an end ☹️.

I'm wondering what would be ideal conditions for application? The bag lists only application rates, and says to follow your Anderson's representative's recommendation. Since it reacts so quickly to moisture, does it have to be applied to a dry lawn or is it ok to apply after a rain? I just purchased some, and it started raining before I got home. I'm excited to use it, but there's been a good 3 hours of steady rain on the lawn. If you shouldn't apply to wet grass, how long after rain should you wait to apply?

Can I combine the humic acid with a granual fertilizer to help the microbial activity in my lawn then use the super juice as a supplement during the early spring push for my bermuda grass? and on the next fertilizing window can i use the innova 7-1-2 fertilizer? id appreciate the feed back THANKS

Sure... humic can go down at anytime. Andersons and I talked about developing such a product but I told them I was concerned about even distribution of the "mix". I think it's better to apply them on there own but same time is fine.

Doc, please answer. There are youtube videos out there that like to discredit the use of humic acid in the granular form and suggest that their brand Humic12 is the only way to get humic acid to the root level of the soil and that granular and powder humic will only stay on top of the soil. Thoughts?

Can this humic DG product be applied throughout winter Bermuda dormancy? Soil tests show that my lawn is completely devoid of organic material, being new sod placed on barren under-soil, and I’d like to get a lot into the ground before spring greenup. Or should I wait? (I’m going to be adding it throughout the growing season, regardless). Thanks in advance!

I'm the Los Angeles area, have compacted clay mix soil and in spite of the money we spent, few years ago, on a tall Fescue sod lawn, the Devil and Crabgrass have come back with a vengeance! The "gardeners" out here seems to know next to nothing. Glad I found you on TH-cam and will be checking out your website shortly!
So, do i knock-out the "invaders" first with...? Or do I make the soil/lawn healthy then kill of the unwelcome grasses?
Would really welcome your input on this!

Good idea on the video! I have a product very similar and using in the cannabus industry to produce massive volumes and quality in comparisons to the other methods. My problem is the dumbasses that think that they know it all. Shoot me a response. I got lots of info for ya!!
