Meryl should've won the Oscar for Doubt....one of her best performances EVER! Right after watching the trailer for the film I immediately thought the Oscar was hers!
I think my favorite of these are "Out of Africa", "Adaptation", "The Devil Wears Prada", and "Sophie's Choice". Surprised "Ironweed" didn't make this list, as that's one of my two favorite performances/films of her, along with "Sophie's Choice". "The Deer Hunter" was a great movie, but I didn't think she had much screen time in it. I haven't seen "Doubt" or "The Iron Lady" yet, but hear they are outstanding as well. She's been in so many great movies. Fantastic actor!

There are so many Films.. I like her debut film credit Julia where Vanessa Redgrave got her Oscar.. you can see how great of an actress she is.. I also like her in.. Prime, Marvin's Room, Devil Wears Prada, Doubt, Death Becomes her, Florence foster Jenkins.. etc. I think she's the only actress I can name atleast 20 or more films in an impromptu round of a gameshow.. lol
