I think this is a great step in the right direction especially for those who really want the cars to be extremely close to how they would feel in real life and also for those who use sim racing as a tool to practice for actual racing. Great video as well
A great (overdue) addition. As you say hopefully it doesn't end up penalising drivers unfairly due to the actions of others. And yeah, that shot at 3:30 is poetry in motion!
Of course it will penalize drivers unfairly due to the actions of others. Whoever said racing was fair. They're just trying to make it closer to real world.
Ever since the update, I’ve been dropping frame rate. Before the update I was rock steady at150-180fps now I drop to 80 or worse depending on how chaotic the track is
@ the way you drive iracing(smooth) is not realistic. You can watch suello’s real life inboards(radical) how he consistently counter steer to search for grip. Or daniel moral(gt4 iracing vs real life). He is so smooth in iracing while pushing in real life. The moment you try to push in iracing like you would in real life, you overheat tires and it game over. Driving without able to properly, continuously counter steer is not realistic. Nevertheless iracing is fun
I'm freaking excited for it! Def needed for iRacing to be able to call themselves "The most realistic racing simulator". :D Also, would probably get the more arcade-type players to develop some more actual skills, and hopefully limit the ones that are just full-out inconsiderate. I know that's prob not gonna actually happen, but still a man can dream. :D Also, it def is in early development, but knowing iRacing, I am hopeful it'll grow to be the best system that mimics these conditions, even more than AC. Just because I do think they have a sense of pride with their sim, and they do want to compete with other sims as much as possible. I think the physics will also be super accurate, but the graphics are gonna be lacking until they get their new graphics engine.
I wish iRacing’s physics was a bit better in the rain. If you run over a puddle then theoretically it should cool down your tires when the track is drying up so that helps tire life in wet tires.
good timing, was just looking for something to watch whilst eating
What ya eating mi amigo?
@@JACKZERYT mash, and a nice steak with some peach slices as dessert 😅
@@JACKZERYTlol YT had the “translate to English” under your comment. That’s hilarious.
We’ll have to adapt our driving now😮 looking forward to this update
having to interact more with the track is what im looking forward very much
So hype and the new tire model is coming soon 😉 lol
So seeing those dust clouds kicked up as you round a turn is going to be even more fear inspiring 😂

I think that this is awesome

Great video as always
Iracing should first focus on “under limit” driving issues before any other realist things. Great debris touch nevertheless.
What do you mean by under limit? Like not being able to push hard without murdering the tires?

The more, and more they keep adding...the more, and more my PC keeps crying. The day for an upgrade is probably here.
How am i suppose to keep it between the lines now?
There goes the SR lol

does somebody know if it will take more fps?
When is this update coming out?
Tuesday
I die enough in iRacing. I don’t want to die more 😭
How the graphics look that good in iracing videos?
I wonder how it will work in the rain
The closer it is to real life, the better.

That's the tire model not the physics. And they're working on that.
@ I didn’t know that, thank you!
All I'm wondering about is if I have to upgrade my potato for this.
Is it me or do the graphics already look better in these recent updateS?
They need to start cars getting flat spots on their tyres t9 stop people just mashing the brakes with no come back!
They will in future update
i saw this earlier on shatbook, looks very cool. Could be a challenge in the rookie races 😂
